Help support our local community magazine
Te Kamo Connect is a community magazine created for and about Te Kamo. It shares local news, events, stories, and information that helps keep our community connected. The magazine is available online, has a print run of 5000 delivered free to local households and is supported by local advertising.
We are looking for someone to take on a part-time Advertising Coordinator role.
The role involves:
• Liaising with our existing advertisers
• Maintaining positive relationships with local businesses
• Low pressure approach to finding new advertisers when opportunities arise
• Working with the design team to communicate advertiser requirements
• Working alongside the editor to support each issue of the magazine
We’re keen for someone with
• Good communication and people skills
• Comfortable talking with local businesses
• Organised and reliable
• An interest in supporting a worthwhile community project
Remuneration: to be discussed.
Advertising income helps keep Te Kamo Connect free for the community and supports local projects and communication.
